Come on, be honest, who climbs stairs like this?

 

Years ago in Corfu I struggled because of breathing problems going ap a long, steep track going up to a restaurant. An old dear said watch how the locals do it. They did it by walking side to side like that as you are not putting as much exertion into it as if you were forcing yourself up a steep incline. That may well work, must do as so many were doing it, but next time, it was a very good restaurant with amazing views so we went again, I got a taxi.

 

That looks a lot like my Southern Comfort and snakebite walk!
