Obvious answer: "The police arrested the thugs?" No. Not in #TwoTierPolicing Briitain. The police would never try to arrest them.
I’m sure you know what happened next but, just in case, a quick Google of The Clumsy Swan will enlighten. However, I agree that this thread is not the place… …over and out.
Went into the City today.... walked up Whitefriargate to go to Prospect Centre... all clean and tidy.. At the top of Whitefriargate there was a young girl. It takes some strength to stand there and sing, I sure as hell couldnt do it. . She had a microphone and one of those amplifier boxes. She was so timid and shy and wasn't singing very loud and was getting drowned out by building works directly behind her. I didnt give her change lets just say. If you see her, dont just walk past please even if its a smile or a thumbs up... God loves a trier...
How very odd, just a few days ago a post like this, and its follow on, would have seen a very large brush taken to it, hey ho. That is all.
Loads of posts about the riots are still on this very thread, only the political comments were deleted. Hey ****ing ho to you to.
I’m in Birmingham for work for a few days next week, has anyone got any good bars / restaurants recommendations or places to avoid!!!!
Depends where you are mate Can’t say I’ve ever been But temple st has a lot of bars This looks good if you like darts!! https://www.designmynight.com/birmingham/bars/city-centre/flight-club-birmingham
looking at dogs for sale That’s one resourceful yorkshire terrier!!! Description 4 boys and 4 girls 6 weeks old. Mum is lurcher and dad is yorkshire terrier .
I’ve been to that flight club, it’s ok but the drinks prices are ludicrous. I’ve spent quite a bit of time in Brum in recent years, a good pub for a sit down drink (and with outside space) is the Shakespeare Inn on Summer Row, recently reopened after a do-over. For food, Dishoom is good (it’s a chain but well worth a visit for interesting curries). And finally, don’t stay at the Hyatt Regency! Full of tossers with questionable money.
I’ve stayed in practically every hotel in the city centre! That one is good but if you get a second trip I’d suggest the Malmaison. Very near the station. A great about Brum is that the heart of the city centre is tiny, so everything is walkable.
