There used to be a dislike button and a third one but I can't remember what it was.

    Anyone?

Liked the first one, now this one too. Consistency is the key, unlike some. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

You've missed out the 'in my opinion', guff, and also missed the point that humour is personal and subjective, hey ho. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Did you post that when people posted stuff about Thatcher, Trump which were far more insulting? Or the ones about Sunak, Rees Mogg or others? Or is it just insulting certain people that raises your delicate little hackles? Not many posts since 2011. Post more under your other names?

I will settle for the opinion of the Wildean razor sharp intellect of TwoWrights over that soft sod anytime. Wonder who put in a complaint about it?

After Waterloo, the Duke of Wellington attended a ball in Vienna. Upon his arrival, some French officers turned their backs on the conqueror of their emperor.

When a woman apologized to the Duke for their rudeness, he replied:

‘’Tis of no matter, Your Highness; I have seen their backs before.’

Wouldn't be surprised if Lord Nelson hadn't at some juncture knelt before Napoleon as well. How else could he have been poked in the eye ? :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0105-wink:
At least that's what Hardy must have thought !

There’s a grave in the Trafalgar Cemetary on Gibraltar dedicated to sailor from Hull who died in the battle on Nelsons flagship, a dedication from his mother if I recall, well worth a visit, we spent a good two hours looking at all the graves a couple of years ago, if you like history, there’s no better place to visit, and it’s got duty free booze and ciggies what’s not to like.
