Quick simple solution. Wheelchair tight to the staircase. Slide ramp under wheelchair.

They shouldn't have sent it in wrong way round in the first place, and once the mistake was realised, they could have simply asked him to wait and they'd stop the train at the appropriate point just after it set off so he could board.

Credit to the staff on camera though, they seemed polite, understanding and wanting to do what they could within their power to help him.

I can't work out how he reckoned him not moving meant the train couldn't move though.

He obviously knows the rules….perhaps he would put his hand on the train and it can’t move with someone touching it or some strange rule.

Set up? No. Everybody goes to Kings Cross armed with a piece of professional videoing equipment, and posts the results on YouTube. Also, he certainly knew the script.

Why does my ticket cost so much? As a result of a recent complaint we have had to measure every platform on the east coast line, make note of all restricted access points, play musical carriages in the shunting yard, and employ marshallers for bringing the train into the station ito avoid overshooting appropriate disembarkation sections of the platform.

Fancy a professional YouTuber, with several thousand subscribers and a couple of hundred YouTube videos, having professional recording equipment with him. Typical self entitled crip expecting access to a train, next time shove him on a sack barrow, or better still leave him behind.
