I read the same thing on the Sunderland board a few weeks ago. Its not more fun in the lower leagues. It's ****.
No Sunderland away was when I was around 80% now I am 100% sure we are going down. We are a gutless spineless team with not a fighting bone in any of them.
It does look like a perfect storm, frequent injuries, refereeing decisions not going our way, owners not investing.
There is only one reason why we are where we are, nothing to do with managers, injuries, referees it all comes down to the vindictive and negligible running of this club, trying to 'build' a squad on the cheap relying on loanees to regularly fill 3 of the 4 defensive positions and selling anyone who people will come in for. Transfer profits in 2017 of around 50m and loans being paid off with obscene interest. I can't get my head round anyone who offers any sympathy or excuse for the Allams, they are a cancer on this club.
We're as good as down already. No spirit within the team epitomised by the last few days with two senior players, one the captain, trying desperately to leave. No spirit, no leadership, no fight to try and get out of the position they;re in. All Ehab's fault and if there aren't significant protests before and during the next televised game I'd be amazed. There's no reason not to protest.
The only solace I take from this whole sorry affair is this; Daft lad, also known as the slap headed one(Ehab ) believes he’s seen as an innovative leader in business and in how to run a football club. I honestly think he does. With each passing week and with each morale sapping defeat his already laughably shabby reputation is tainted more. When we get relegated he will be seen by everyone who knows anything about the game for what he truly is; utterly clueless and one of the most shoddy and corrupt clowns ever to run a football club. His reputation is tarnished beyond repair.
I can't see a way out of this. I really can't. For most of the season I've been saying that there's 3 teams worse than us. But there isn't. There really isn't. We're ****ed.
Only hope is for us to beat Barnsley, then hope Barnsley are worse than us, and pray Sunderland and Burton keep losing. If not I can almost hear Jordan shouting out....'Welcome Accrington Stanley and Hull City' to around 5k fans at the KCom.
