And they are drinking alcohol! Quelle horreure! Do we want these sort of people giving our club a bad name? Next thing you know they will be standing up and chanting.
stuff like this is why i hate modern football https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce8yk09zrjro **** chelsea ****s
You're the one that brought Chelsea up so not quite sure what you're asking. My point is that while Chelsea are doing it on a larger scale than us, it's all relative up and down the leagues. Man City, Arsenal, United, etc. are all doing it too at that level, further down Brighton, Palace, Everton etc. buy up players, and then look at us taking Hughes, Joseph, etc. from League One. Those players you cited are most likely going to head to Strasbourg so that good players at Strasbourg can progress into the Chelsea first team. Good news for LR.
How is Chelsea constantly buying 10 defensive midfielders a season and not playing them the same as us buying players to go straight into the team i.e a normal transfer?
Which 10 defensive midfielders have Chelsea bought and not played? And if we are being literal about comparing us to Chelsea haven't we signed over 50 players in about 3 years under Acun? We're probably the most like for like comparison to Chelsea's bloated transfer policy in the entire football league. I'm not trying to suggest there's nothing wrong with Chelsea's model - much in the same way that our current transfer business is also unsustainable - but Brady's point with that article seemed to be about Chelsea buying up more young players. Feel free to correct me on that Brady. I've pointed out that it seems as if those players in particular will be loaned to Strasbourg, with the top performing players at Strasbourg moving into Chelsea's first team squad. I don't see a specific issue with that any more than if we had kept our Irish club and started feeding players through it. Much like Man City with it's Spanish and Australian clubs, or Brighton with its Belgian club etc.
Hope that wasn't you with the mic, and the potty mouth, at half time. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
