he was for two years from 1985 till his second in 1987 as well. but, yes, nowhere near wilkinson's best.
 
Indeed. I am younger than him and won’t see it. I don’t think my two lads in their 40s will either.
You and me both, your lads'll see a new generation of managers coming in though. Maybe some of them will be English. I don't particularly yearn for an English manager in the old school style. The european managers have brought a lot to the game, we can learn from them. All imho of course...
