What about Roseyball and Walterball? https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/arne-slot-slotball-angeball-carsball-b2612657.html
Saw today that Benjamin Tetteh has joined Slovenian side Maribor on loan. Strong signing for that league, on Acun’s recommendation perhaps.
The what will probably become the sham trial of the century, the Man City 115 charges trial kicks off today. I heard a figure of 50 million being the man city legal fees, not sure if that is so far or expected (how would anyone know) total costs.
It will be end of FFP area, big clubs are increasingly pressuring UEFA to create more money, they even forced them to increase European games and league format so they are getting what they want gradually, a slower pace than Super League thingy of Florentino Perez. It is a bit funny though, FFP is actually helping to maintain status-quo, since your budget is limited with your income from football related assets, in the end current system only allows big clubs to spend more and consolidate talent. If FFP eliminated, I would expect a huge step up from Newcastle for example, in 2-3 years Liverpool would be a mediocre team again considering their current owner behaviour.
I read somewhere that they was thinking of spreading any points reduction over a number of seasons, whether that comes off will be a travesty to Clubs who have already had reductions.
Apparently they have a barrister on hand (lord panik) who charges £10,000 an hour. I wonder where they will put those costs on the FFP accounts.
Pannick, the barrister given the job of getting Boris Johnson out of the partygate mess and out of the privileges committee mess. 100% record there.
If he’s successful then I can see other clubs using him. Including us and Grimsby. 'Pannik on the streets of Carlisle, Dublin, Dundee, Humberside.
