Technicality or correctly applied interpretation of poorly drafted guidelines? The end result is the same - the Premier League look foolish and inconsistent and their rules increasingly challengeable. Manchester City's and Chelsea's lawyers will be rubbing their hands with glee.
It sounds like the Premier League need some better lawyers, apparently about a quarter of the Man City charges are a complete nonsense, either already dealt with, or just completely wrong.
I think Man City will walk away from this unscathed or at most they’ll have an insignificant points deduction and a fine. All this talk about huge points deductions and relegation/s is smoke and mirrors.
I have a sneaky feeling the country that owns Newcastle are waiting for the outcome. If it is as you suggest, somewhat unscathed, Eddie Howe will finally get to do the kiddy in a sweet shop thing.
And another... Premier League failed in attempt to make Everton pay for full £4.9m PSR legal bill. Documents show commission ruled club only had to pay £1.7m.
I've always said we've had better athletes and we've had better footballers but I really don't remember us having a better, or more inspirational leader that Ash - no idea what he's doing these days, I just hope he's doing well. Happy birthday Ash!
Wouldn't be surprised to see the next announced as Rex Launderette, may as well hide in plain sight. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Apparently, the prize money for winning of the League of Ireland is just €100k and the clubs there rely on European TV money, as their games aren't actually televised in Ireland (the only league in Europe that's not televised in the home country). It's no wonder the standard isn't very high.
They were sleave sponsors for Millwall last season (might still be I just saw the announcement for last season when I Googled them). Which makes sense as they're based in London. Good to know we have an official FX partner though. Don't know how we've survived 120 years without one to be fair.
