am i the only one that wanted

1 ukraine to lose against scotland
2 ukraine to lose against wales
3 ukraine not to be handed the world cup on a plate
4 ukraine not to be gifted the eurovision song contest
    ?

patronising doesn't get close to describing it. why not hand the world cup and eurovision to sudan or somalia or some other war-torn country?

it's not unlike the sob stories contestants on shows like britain's got talent and the x-factor use to elicit sympathy and votes votes votes.

Listen to Souness say Ukraine should automatically qualify and be put in a group of 5. Utter drivel. Never heard any of this ****e about Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan or Yemen automatically qualifying for a World Cup because of war.

Ukraine is becoming the Madeleine McCann of war-torn countries at this point.

Thats a shame, because your other comment about Syria etc had some merit, and at least something worth debating.

Pity you didn't stop there really.

I don’t see the issue. The McCann case has received disproportionate media attention for 15 years compared to other missing children cases and Ukraine receives disproportionate media attention compared to other conflicts like Syria and Yemen.

Man given £1m fine on top of 7-year jail term for selling devices which illegally streamed Premier League games

Steven King masterminded the Dreambox pirate streaming operation

A man found guilty of providing illegal streaming devices which allowed access to unauthorised Premier League content has been ordered to pay a £1m fine.

Steven King, who was jailed for seven years and four months in March 2019, was one of three men behind the Dreambox pirate streaming operation.

At Warwick Crown Court on Monday, he was given three months to pay back £963,000 - equal to the amount he has made from from providing the illegal devices - or face having his jail term near doubled.

The judge also ruled that King must give up his passport within the next four weeks and will be unable to travel abroad until the fine has been paid.
