Of all the players in that team Damo would have been low on the list of players I would expect to start a move with a shimmy like that, priceless! What a great pro he was, £50k from Leicester? Despite the horrendous stick in his early days at BP, he rose above it and became a stalwart on the left side of our defence. Dare I say it? a bona-fide legend!

Joey Barton's going to be back in court later this monthly, he's been charged with Malicious Communications, for the abuse he sent Eni Aluko.

Being on Twitter is costing Barton a fair amount of coin, he lost a couple of hundred grand in the case against Vine, now he'll lose this one as well.

If he wasn’t a footballer he’d be on minimum wage (if he was lucky) by now.

But he’ll still blame everyone else for depriving him of opportunities.

Not quite sure what you're trying to say here as you're not normally one for pigeon holing groups of people, something wrong with working for minimum wage lad?

You don't have to be a low-life ****,or thick,to be earning £11.44 an hour to put grub in your fridge...

From the little I know about him, and have seen of him, he strikes me as someone who seems to think he’s more intelligent than he actually is.

I don't see how he'd be employable in a 'normal' job. But I suspect he'd have gone down a different path if it wasn't for football.

Ah apologies if that’s how it came across - absolutely nothing wrong with working for minimum wage - I did for many years.

My point was more that Barton has been given many opportunities to have a comfortable life - with more money than any of us will ever earn. But every time he makes a mistake - he gets another chance and it’s always someone else’s fault. If he wasn’t a footballer - he wouldn’t have had that many chances - nor would he have the platform to spout his ****e.

He doesn’t know how lucky he’s been.

Barton doesn't seem overly concerned about the charges, in fact, it sounds like he sees this as an opportunity to prove in court that Eni Aluko is rubbish at her job and his criticism was entirely justified.

I'm not sure it's going to pan out that way for him, after all, he did compare her to Rose West and Stalin in those tweets.

Considering he left school with 10 GCSE's,he's probably more intelligent than you actually think he is:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Glad to hear police have not got a backlog of burglaries, mugging and assaults to clear up in that area.

There's a team called Sturminster Marshall FC, in the Dorset Premier League, whose record last season reads P/30 W/0 D/0 L/30 GD/-291.

It doesn't get much worse than that and to add insult to injury, local rivals Sturminster Newton United FC won the league P/30 W/25 D/2 L/3 GD/+73.
