And I thought Greaves was bad at grabbing in the penalty area! First time I’m seeing this, & I can’t believe it wasn’t given! I really don’t understand football these days! https://x.com/skysportspl/status/1746883887182037237?s=46&t=mbGC1Uc_tqsItFVqKTDi-w
Me neither. Baffling. Watched it live and shouted at the tele how is that not a penalty!! What they are effectively saying is that it's absolutely fine for a defender to put both hands round a player, pull them back away from the ball. It's plain ridiculous. Same as all the wrestling that is allowed at set pieces etc. About time it was all clamped down on. All it takes is a warning to be issued that from the next round of games it will all be punished. I want to see football not wrestling. It's beyond ridiculous these days (but not quite as bad as 'defending tactics by G McCann'
Jesus. It's a good decision by the ref, Garnacho has his hands on the defender first, the defender gets hold of him then Garnacho flops over for no good reason. It's one of the good outcomes of the more liberal refereeing that if you chuck yourself down when someone puts a hand on you then you don't get anything. Well done that ref.
Its even worse for Everton.... they have anew stadium to pay for and the American consortium (777 or something like that) cannot get ratification for their take over from the FA
I was going to watch us 'live' this Friday night away at Sunderland on Sky sports...Gutted it's not 'live' now!!!
I’d check before making plans for Millwall game. ASLEF have announced that they are taking industrial action and also an overtime ban from the end of January and that will be the first weekend.
Yes,funnily enough I saw that Today and LNER are involved on the Friday of that game I'll speak to my lad and see if he can taxi me down
