Yet you condemn others exercising their right to express free speech as being a clique. People do not have an absolute right to free speech. If I call some one a **** I can be arrested for threatening behaviour. Lees views may be fine with you but they are hate filled to me. I made a point on another thread mentioning racist abuse me and my family had faced and was, firstly, told "if what you said is true then it's wrong" (implying I maybe lying) and the was accused of using "racial persecution to gain support for my argument". It seems to me that some people have very stunning double values about what is OK and what ain't. Lee and others like him think they can write whatever racist piece of **** they want, take no responsibility for who they offend or upset or piss off. They then scream "pc gone mad" or "chip on shoulder" or "free speech" when people disagree with them. I do not lack a sense of humour but fail to see how the racist **** on this site is funny (the other excuse). I grew up in the 1970s and remember the filth that passed for comedy then which was soul destroying for me as a kid. Finally, blaming a group of people cos some people of their colour do something that pisses you off makes no sense to me. I have been made redundant by white people, attacked physically by white people, had terrible white landlords, been illegally sacked by a white person, racially abused by white people, had **** neighbours who were white, been burgled by white people and had a white girlfriend I lived with cheat on me. I also grew up in a time when white terrorists were bombing Britain on a regular basis...and guess what...I do not hate or resent white people ... cos that would be ****ing stupid. I ain't some poncey middle class **** wits who don't live in the real world either. I am an ordinary person in a poorly paid job getting by...so the idea that poverty is an excuse font hold water. Racism is used by politicians to divide us so we fight eachother instead of their ****ty policies which wreck our communities and lives so those that are racist or defend racism are on the wrong side imo.
My experiences are varied and plentiful thanks.[/QUOTE] But obviously not if you keep saying that based on your experienced all people in the country are bigots, or lots of people you know consider blacks and Asians to be immigrants, or that people move to the country to get away from immigrants. They are all very, very closed minded ideas and generalisations. You've used words like West Hamabad and liked a comment comparing Islam to Cancer. It more indicates someone who doesn't mix in diverse circles and if you'd had a broad experience you'd surely realise that's there's all sorts of people in the country and in the city - bigots, socialists, rich, poor, nice, nasty, black, white and they are not all the same and are totally different and similar at the same time, the colour of their skin has nothing at all to do with it.
I've never met anyone in my entire life who has ever suggested that they moved out of the City to get away from immigrants.
I think he's busy installing another kitchen and hasn't got time to come on. Either that or the Sensible Party are developing the Sensible human-sized Hamster wheels ready for when they win the election!
You missing him mate? http://www.accountingweb.co.uk/community/blogs/rachaelpower/member-meet-up-a-sunny-evening-in-london
I have no problems with anybody!!!!!....... My mother was mugged by a black bloke. When i was about 11 i was robbed and punched by 4 older black kids,2 had knives. Goes both ways.
Unlike RememberColinLee* you forgot to say "How stupid it is to judge somebody based on the colour of their skin - or judge every single person of that ethnicity based on one person's actions" *I keep meaning to ask who Colin Lee is so I can remember it for later
But in this thread you've judged people from the country as bigots, you've made a judgement on why people who move to the country from the cities, you've made a judgement on how people consider black and Asian Britons. You've also liked a post judging a whole religion (followed by 1.6billion people) as a cancer.
