ANY manager would be a down grade so you have to go with the one nearest to the same as you are loosing, the less the disturbance the smoother the change.
The only thing they have in common is being male and Scottish. You do realize that what you've just suggested is that SAF was only as good as Moyes
Given the vast riches bacon face had at his disposal, Moyes probably would have fared just as well. Both are bullies and come from similar deprived environments. A trained monkey would have returned some silverware given those tools at its disposal.
I was thinking more from a football point of view as in the longevity at clubs, the ability to re-build teams as they age, the way they each used the resource they had available to to maximum potential, similar management styles and football systems etc etc. However well done for noticing the two similarities you mentioned, give yourself a pat on the head.
lol. Mourinho has not the required quality that United Need. He is a rubbish guy who likes big spending, completely opposite to this club! Moyes is almost perfect choice.... Klopp would be also a good choice.
Fact is if Jose was our first choice he would now be Man United manager... He's not even going to Chelsea hahahahaha
You do know that Everton would be 7th in an all time league and yet Moyes averaged 8th with them. So he hasn't even been the average of previous Everton managers. If you think being at a club for a decade and winning nothing makes you a good manager then I truly hope that is what you get
Rooney 32 million Rio 30 million Van Persie 24 million Veron 28 million Berbatov 30 million Ashley Young 17 million Anderson 18 million Phil Jones 18 million David De Gea 19 million Michael Carrick 18 million thats a lot of big transfer fees for a club that dont spend big and with little to nothing coming out of the academy more big spending is sure to follow.
the difference is mate our fans dont delude themselves into thinking we dont spend big on players ive seen United fans prattle on about being a club that based on bring youth through when the truth is the last great crop of youth players that came through at United was during the early 90s since then all key players have be brought for big money.
