Least those teams made the final. How did you get on in it again?!?! I feel this all seems to be steming from your own shame of having been dumped into the E.L last year and then having been tonked home and away by a mid table Spanish team. In fact the two team that dumped you into the E.L, we beat on route to our historic victory.
hhh I were praying to go out .. read my posts at that time.. it was a big distraction to our title race .. but you had nothing else to play for .. so will not blame you really for trying your best to win it would i be happy if i win it last year .. sure, better than nothing but what amaze me is chelsea fans reaction and how it changed 180 degree .. from laughing on UTD for playing in this competition last season, yet a year later you are overjoyed to play in it !! Firstly don't assume all Chelsea fans have the same opinions on everything. Personally I thought it was funny that you went out the C.L last year in the groups but what was equally as shocking was your (and City's) poor performance in the E.L. If you are in a competition, try and win it. Don't give me this rubbish that you concentrated on the league; you put out good sides in the E.L and still got beat convincingly by a mid table spanish side. Of course we will make the best of a situation. No Chelsea fan wanted to get eliminated from the C.L but what a way to make up for it. I think that you failed to do the same last year (and then also failed to win the title) probably has caused some resentment. Don't worry love, you'll get over it.
Fishing is down to choosing the right spot and a good bait... the catch hasn't been too bad has it... Being in the Europa for CURRENT champions league winners is a DEFINITE sign of failure . No matter what happens later, it meant having been prematurely dumped out of the champions league tournament. Like someone said earlier, it is like being asked to shag a very ugly old bird. Some say "thanks but no thanks" and leave. Others are so desperate that they will make all efforts to get it up...
Why are Man Utd fans slating Chelsea for winning a trophy they failed to win? To use No one Famous' analogy properly, its like making funny of your friend for shagging a bird who had previously knocked back YOUR advances. TBH holding both cups....meh...its only for like 10 days anyway. Im more proud of the fact that we are the only English club to have won every European Trophy, thats more of a boastworthy accomplishment imo.
