The problem with Redknap is that his interviews cover every possible eventuality, and the interviewers are never strong enough to pin him down to one or the other argument. So, for example, Harry will say "it's a difficult league, there are no easy games, and we've been lucky to be where we are this season," but during the same interview he'll say something like "they're a great bunch of players, and X, Y & Z are top, top players, and we can beat anyone on our day." Not one interviewer has had the balls to put it to Harry that it's time he ditched the excuses, and that the reason why the team is currently in relegation form is because he, Harry Redknap, is clearly waiting for the phone call, at which point his feet won't touch, and the players know this and simply do not believe any of his bull-**** any more. Sure, Harry would do one, should an interviewer have the balls to put the right questions to him, but so what? I want the old tosser to get the **** out of my club, and not treat us like the lobby of some cheap hotel while he waits for his taxi to turn up.
At least Ramos looked fairly animated towards the end of his tenure; every time I look over at Redknapp he's slumped in his chair!
Considering his English was iffy at best, the main reason he was animated was because Poyet suggested he try semaphore.
Well there we go - Liverpool have had a better season than us I'll be annoyed if they get Martinez in as well - quality manager.
