I don’t have enough pixels on my phone camera to screen shot what he’s posted onto here, but to save 606 members an hour reading it, here is a summary - 1. Methven demonstrated at Bromley Addicks that he’s full of s hit, 2. The financial backing in the last 9 months doesn’t match the words, 3. 8-8-8 has died a suspicious death, 4. I love Grapey. Some say he’s a self important old fart, but not me. Today’s stricture came without the usual opening of “ladies and gentlemen, permit me to explain to you …” He did however post this morning that he would be delivering his verdict on SE7 later in the day

Notice how the Charles Hawtey doppelgänger doesn’t reply to any of Grapevine’s points, or even attempt to interact with him. He just repeats his same old “let’s see where we are in …” soundbites. The same ones he’s posted on there for at least 15 years now. He’s pretending to be a critic of previous regimes and owners now, which is strange as he definitely waived the white flag above his outsized Crombie when they were in charge at the time.
Another couple of days of very little activity on our sister forum ITTV. If I could give Global one piece of friendly advice, ITTV at the moment resembles a stale cheese sandwich. There’s no humour and nothing interesting on it. The handful of regular contributors are pub bores. Any three (or 2.5) posters from 606 would immediately improve ITTV …
I respect the fact he’s proud of his home town & club, but he’s delusional about the size & potential of Wrexham.
@Dick Plumb1 and @lardiman I know we are only quote “a small forum of chavs” () , but personally I hate to see an even smaller forum than ours struggling so badly. Posts on ITTV have dried up like Ahadme’s goals. A cynic (ok, it was Elfs) suggested that this lack of activity on ITTV was linked to a decrease in the porkies about transfer targets, which drove Global’s traffic up for a brief interlude. With the despotic tyrant Iron Fist on his holidays, have you any advice you can give to his deputies Aaronaldo and Valleydobson?
Advice... 1. Un-ban all the recently banned members (assuming you have the admin clearance to do that). Especially Elfs. That'll increase the posting rate by a fair bit I should think. 2. Sign up here. You'll need somewhere to go when Global gets back from his holidays and kicks you out. 3. Use your few remaining days to moderate fairly and lightly. Members you leave behind will remember that.
Aaronaldo is acting like a teenage kid cheerleading the ticket con. Totally unrepresentative of our real fanbase.
Wake up and smell the coffee. It seems the SMT are big on gimmicks but short on finding ways of getting us out of this division. The Season ticket holders and true fans who go week in and week out have been short changed. They have not assembled a squad to get us out of this division. They have let our two best players leave in May and Dobson. Brought in Docherty and Ahadme to replace them. It doesn’t matter how many bouncy castles, chicken stalls and scarfs and other gimmicks you bring in. The fanbase want a squad that is going to compete at the top of the table. We STILL don’t have that.
