I said, at the start of the season, that something had gone wrong.

People seem to have lost respect and I don't think the current political atmosphere is helping.

When Cheltenham came to Sunderland I was on their coach, half a dozen were looking for trouble after the game ffs.

I'll be just a little wary on Tuesday.

I might be behind the times here but how does a mob that size get to walk through a city centre hoying chairs at windows and not get arrested?

Not as if it's a big surprise, there's always trouble with these two clubs.

Just been sent this by a mate, ffs people don't let this all go to shyte <doh>

Norwich City fans had to climb over fences to escape attacks from Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters following the Canaries 1-0 FA Cup win at Molineux. Canaries' supporters reported being punched, kicked and stamped on as they tried to leave the stadium following fourth round tie on Saturday. However, this was only the beginning of the violence as attacks got worse when fans made their way up a set of stairs leading towards the city centre.

"Eventually the stamper left and as we were going up the stairs Wolves fans were all shouting abuse and hitting out at anyone wearing yellow. At that point people were climbing over gardens and fences to escape the violence, I looked back for my mates but I couldn't see them so I just kept walking to get out of the way of everything."

Other fans have reported being punched in the back of the head whilst leaving through the underpass near the ground which has become notorious for trouble among fans post match.

Sadly this doesn't surprise me at all. I think things like this have been getting worse for a few years now, but I don't think that there's any one particular reason why. There does seem an increased lack of respect for people in general, but that doesn't explain it all. Looking at the behaviour of England fans at the Euro 2020 final should have been a warning. But it needs dealing with and fast otherwise it could very quickly get out of control and we'll have scenes like we did in the 79s and 80s again

WTF, season hasn't even started yet ...

"Fans involved in a fight during a football game between Southport and Blackpool could be banned from matches, police say.

The referee stopped the pre-season friendly to take players off during the disruption at Southport's Pure Stadium on Saturday."

I wonder how many they’re bringing on Saturday… They never usually travel well coming up here.

It's about time these little puffa jacket bastards at Bolton took a pasting from some of the old lads. Either that or the police should do their jobs and get amongst them. They're sneaking around looking for stragglers all the time and would cack their pants if a dozen handy lads had a go at them. They were lurking in the car park, after the 6-0, trying to provoke people.

    Very poor.

    Of course not mate.

It's just really upsetting for innocent people to have to put up with these idiots.

That train is always edgy and the police do nowt.
