If things don't pick up soon Uncle Roman will no doubt be throwing money at the squad for them improve in January. I think they should consider the following line up for the second half of the season:

To be honest I started with good intentions of producing a proper functional 4-4-2 of modern players but it proved harder than I imagined/I ran out of steam so thought I'd throw in an obvious Egg one and with Eggar Davids already mentioned his was the first name that came to mind. I vaguely remember his Southampton glory days from the mid 90s but was quite young then so don't remember much about him...
 
It will be ablumen shame when this thread is layed to rest. It is not over easy finding new puns but I will keep my sunnyside up and hope my poultry attempts are not given the bird.
