Apologies for not getting the pictures right.

I was reading the BBC news site... memories of Aberfan came up...

We are rightly concerned with our team atm

But I remember my mum and dad crying at the time, I was 14 and recall being tearful. Our local stag heap was about a mile away thank god.

All those children in the school!

I was 10 at the time and it was around the time the four tops had a hit with "reach out" .....i'll be there etc. Every time I hear that song to this day I get an image of a childs arm reaching out from the slurry - poor kids
