I think that's part of the issue. One of the things I think Arsenal should have tried harder with when they built the emirates was to ensure that the people who sat - and before then stood, together on the North Bank and Clock End had the opportunity to be together at the Emirates. What happened was that the fans who started off songs all got split up and ended up sitting next to tourists and families. I know we created the 'red zone' but it seemed like a bit of a token effort to be honest. My solution, and it's not everybody's cup of tea. Is to reintroduce safe standing areas where those who want to sing and stand together can. The benefits of this are an improved atmosphere, increased capacity, reduced ticket prices. I I were a fan of a club looking to build a new ground, this is an option that I'd be canvassing for
I didn't realise that speaking English was a pre-requisite to buying a ticket to watching Arsenal. These people may well have been Arsenal members who were able to buy tickets through the normal channels
Arsenal have supporters clubs throughout the world and most of them organise trips to the Emirates for games

As long as people turn up and support the lads then I don't think it matters where they came from and how long they'be been supporting.
