Playing a couple of songs is not what one would assume a 'tribute' is and well you know that. Just accept you were wrong, move on and stop arguing. Judging by the amount of likes on my original post, many others thought the same as me.

I'm not trying to be funny or clever here mate but I'd be embarrassed if the club made some sort of conscious effort to pay tribute to David.

It would smack of professional grief mongery of the highest order, he's got knack all to do with the club so why would we have a tribute to him?

So if you went on weds night and they played his songs before the game or at half time you wouldn't think it was a nice touch?

I said it would be a nice touch by the club if they paid tribute to him on Wednesday! If you read it again I also I said I doubt they would! He was an icon for lots of music fans for a long time! I do believe it would have been a nice touch! You've jumped on it like some do on here and decided to ridicule it!
