Pure lunacy to even consider Banjo Kane over real strikers like Drogba, Henry, Shearer, Van Persie, RvN.
Danny Cadamateri Who was that other plonker who played for Everton in the 90's @Tobes Amokachi was it? #KanesLevel
Amo was ace, scored a brace in our ‘95 FA Cup SF win over Spurs at Elland Road mate. Boss day that was, Klinsmann was supposed to lead Spurs to Wembley and we gubbed them 4-1.
There was one season that Torres was the best striker in the world, imo. Shame it was short lived, but I remember one particular season he was literally unstoppable - can't remember the year though.
MLT would be in mine, or very close to being in it. Extraordinary player. Some of his goals were just ****ing ridiculous.
There are two players that I always rated that are always missed out of lists like these - Claude Makelele and Gilberto Silva. Both played at pretty much the same time and while Makelele made such an immediate impact that the DM position is defined by him, Silva played longer in in the Premier League where he spent his best years.
Makelele yeah I agree, but Gilberto wasn't all that imo. Gilberto is something to do with Fred at Utd if my memory is right, some kind of adviser or something?
Nope. Kane did actually score against top Spanish opposition. Bendtner tripped over his bootlaces, if you remember?
Go on then GK: De Gea RB: Ivanovic CB: Ferdinand CB: Terry LB: Cole RM: Robben CM: David Silva CM: Vieira LM: Ronaldo ST: Henry ST: Drogba
