1) So you're saying that, as far as you know, you've neither received nor turned down any relevant bids? What the **** are you boasting about, then? 2) I'm guessing Laverne Cox and Maggie Smith. Am I close?
Did that club have a sell-on profit clause in their contract with Swansea ?? If so, then yes you would have problems. And if Levy put you lot up to it, I assume he has left no traces whatsoever.
1) We haven't sold a single player we wanted to keep under the current ownership .... can you say the same? .. if not, do shut up until WE do ... 2) I would not be taking your not so sloppy seconds now would I? ... interesting that those two are your idea of 'fantasy' mind ...
1) You haven't had any offers. Your player sales since 2010 amount to about £10m in total. 2) You're correct, you wouldn't be taking my sloppy seconds. Not been there, I'm afraid. They're my idea of your kind of fantasy, judging by the stuff that you come out with. I think it's accurate.
There's no denying that fact, Roofy. I think the issue we've had is that we have made it clear that our ambitions are top 4, and I am certain that Levy will have sold that idea to every player that's come into the club - because we have consistently attracted the kind of player who has the ability to play CL footy. When we have failed to get CL footy, the players have wanted to move on. What Levy has struggled to get is the right manager to take the club forward, utilizing all the strengths of our club, including our youth academy. Well, in Poch, Levy seems to have found his man.
1) ... so you'll be watching the space then, good ... plus nervously wondering what Del Boy might do if there is an offer for Harry and co ... OK ... 2) ... then your judgement here is on a par with your footballing knowledge ... still poor and inaccurate ... yet consistently in the shadow of a rival
1) I'll definitely be watching your hilarious meltdown over the summer when your best players all **** off, yes! 2) Shadow of a rival? Forest won the European Cup twice. You haven't won a European game. Sorry.
1) Good luck with that ...and as I will yours .. 2) Forest did brilliantly ... we will aspire to emulate their high standards as best as we can ... just as you will to Arsenal's ... no doubt ...
And as several here do not seem to understand, if any player wants to go (for whatever reason) , coming out with stuff like 'my club does not sell' is pure delusion. One thing you can learn from Spurs is that if your best players are going, rinse the buyer and ensure that club is overseas.
1) No luck needed. I'm aware of how the transfer system works and I can see the signs. You've yet to experience the delights of having anyone substantial undermining your club with their transfer shenanigans. I'm sure you'll love it. 2) Arsenal's standards are the lowest of the low. Becoming the first football franchise and buying a promotion from cheats? Pass.
... you seem to forget that I have grown up supporting a club that has consistently sold any talent in order to survive ... so I'm used to that ... we have never had financial backing like we now have ... hence I am as optimistic as I can possibly be ... because we don't HAVE to sell ... if we do it will be a very good deal for the club unlike our historic talent drain ... what's not to like?
The club had a sell on clause and when the deal went down Vorm still had time on his contract . Jenkin's (our chairman ) said they made a straight swap Siggy for Davies and let Vorm go on the free to get him off the wages apparently .The Dutch club were furious to lose out on their 30% sell on clause and who can blame them . FIFA backed us that we did nothing wrong ( but how much does anyone put on A FIFA ruling theses days ) and the Dutch club went to a higher court . What worries me is our much chairman like to treat us like mushrooms , keep us in the dark and feed us sh:t . I actually think no one will here anything about it from this point and it cost us extra . We will be lucky not to have been sanctioned IMO
You don't have to sell in the same way that you did, but you'll still have to sell. That's what you don't understand. The power's not in your hands or that of your owner's finances. That's not how it works, I'm afraid. You simply have to look to the likes of Kante and his recent comments to see that.
.. ... yes he said he really wanted to leave! ... what he actually said is that he merely wants to concentrate on the job in hand but it's flattering to have come to the notice of the very biggest clubs ... ... of course I 'understand' ... but we are no different to any but the very biggest clubs in Europe right now ... we don't HAVE to sell anyone ... but if a player really wants to move on and a bid meets our valuation then we would sell ... no different to Spuds ... you seem to think there is? ...
You've spent weeks and multiple threads pointing out why you're different to Spurs and not a selling club. Now you're saying that you're like us and that I'm saying that we're different? Really?
PNP, every wumster knows that it's never a good thing to have anything other than a very short memory.
... I've spent weeks saying that under our current owners we do not have a history of selling our best players ... you are welcome to go check ... I've contrasted this with Del Boy's history at Spuds and that is what has really got your goat ... because it is undeniable ...
You've not had anyone to sell under your current owners. That's why you've only made £10m in five years and shifted about 50 players. Attempting to contrast it with Spurs would only make sense if you'd held onto players like Bale, Modric, Berbatov and the like. You simply haven't had any players like that, nor clubs like Real Madrid and Man Utd sniffing around. You couldn't keep hold of Esteban Cambiasso, because Olympiakos wanted him, FFS! All of this hype about your rich owner is hilarious, though. He's mid-table in the Premier League rich list. Southampton and Sunderland have richer owners, as do Bristol ****ing Rovers!
