Thinking about your last paragraph yes fair enough. Sometimes a boxer has to just accept he’s done. He tried his best and I like that but I just think and feel like this was one final payday before he hangs his gloves up. He had potential and he was a good young boxer but when all is said and done he just never realised his potential. He thought he was the dogs bollocks but ended up just being the bone.
I agree - well done was a good fight, would liked to see it go to the later stages but there wasn't half some ****e from Khans side in the build up.
He won two World titles what else can you realise in your potential?. Not everyone can go undefeated... Hatton won one titled how due his career end?in tears losing to senchenko....
I quite like him, he's game as out, he just doesn't like getting punched in the face, which isn't ideal for a boxer
I'm glad Brook won. Khan has dodged this fight for years, while giving it all the big talk. Finally succumbed as he needed a big payday, but all his ****housery with demands for the terms of the fight, the weight demands, delays and then even the crap with the gloves on the very night of the fight. I mean WTF was that? Just shows he was running scared of Brook. Well done Kell, despite all that ****housery, he kept his head and showed who was the boss. Just too powerful for Khan - which Khan has known for years.
He never kicked on. He lost his way. He had potential I give you that but his chin man he couldn’t take a punch. So for that reason I say he was good. But not brilliant. He got caught up in the hype and never delivered.
Put your rod away man, Hattons career ended against Pacman, the Senchenko thing was a waste of everyones time
I think he will be mate, he started alright but once Brook landed big in the first I think he knew this wasn't going to be easy. He gave it his all and to be fair he's gone out on his shield.
No rod involved i just have respect for the lad.. Its boxing I can't not. As for your Hatton comment khan's hardly in his prime.. Not fought for 2 years. Hence my entire point. I judge both on their achievements some weird bitterness.
Which I respect and he stood up. He just talks a lot of ****. He went in the ring with for me the best pound for pound boxer ever in Alvarez which takes some balls mind. He got knocked out stone cold mind.
He's done big things for a lad from Bolton with no chin. Brook I think could've beaten Spence If he took that straight after porter instead of going up 160 and back to 147.. I don't think brook should retire either... If he's with ingle he can compete. The brook vs Crawford was a gaunt looking brook
