A lot of septics refer to themselves through the place their ancestors came from to settle there.

 

Yeah I know that, you're going to get English,Irish,Scottish and Welsh surnames spread all over these isles and further afield in the Americas,Oz etc

 

What I meant was, "Is this one of those embarrassing cases of somebody from the US, of Scotch-Irish or mostly-English origin, mistaking their distant connection to the Emerald Isle for being a Gael enslaved by a beady-eyed Anglo?"

An American could be called Cromwell Strongbowson and think himself entitled to hate the English because his great-great-great-grandpappy was from Sligo

Shouldn't they try to be mixing it up a bit, even if the replacement ones are absolutely **** at football? Positive discrimination and all that dontcha know.

 

Don't see many English men complaining that blacks are over represented in football .

They have greater fast twitch muscle fibre and stronger bone density.

Dwayne and Ashante will still be complaining that the cast of Downtown Abbey aren't black though.

Whilst that contributes, I think the black overrepresentation is more to do with the bias towards major cities when recruiting players, and the fact that blacks reach puberty earlier (hence why Donquarius and Jamal look bigger and stronger at 16 than they do at 25, comparatively speaking)

What I don't get is why black men are so sensitive about seeing black faces in every corner of life. Why do they struggle to 'relate' when watching a show about mediaeval England if there isn't a re-enactment with a Congolese refugee playing William the Conqueror? Or when watching Big Brother if there isn't a dumb, uncouth runt of a creature that happens also to be of sub-Saharan origin? No other ethnic group is like this

 

If any make the grade they should be at school boy/girl stage now and in the next few years.
