I'm a big fan of Dexter. The Mrs watches Modern Family, I thought it was a load of cack at first but when I actually watched it I thought it was quite funny.
Just read a couple of reviews, that sounds good. I can deal with fantasy, just can't do Sci-fi (although they're similar!!). Admittedly, I felt like a weirdo not being into Star Wars when younger Although, I obviously couldn't avoid watching it about 10 times due to peer pressure!

Yea it's great. **** loads of sex ad violence and at the same time a bloody good plot and some fine acting. Everything you need in a show! Let me know how you get on with it sky.
I read all of the Game of Thrones books, well the 5th came out 2 months ago, but I'm a fat lazy Uhmerican and haven't got around to reading it yet. But they do an amazing job on the show as far as following the book goes. Read an interview with the writers and the original idea was to do a movie, but they refused to do it because they didn't want to cut out half the story like most fantasy movies, so they did a tv show as you get 10+ hours a season. Fair warning, the first episodes are a bit slow as they are establishing the story and characters, but when it picks up I'll guarantee you'll say, "well **** me". Oh and Dexter starts again Sunday! And if anyone watches Pysch that starts in 2 weeks.
