Went down to souths Academy Monday night to watch 15s play some oz team
My mates son play in 16s so I tagged along.

We have another one the 8 George Mells this kids passing one touch over any distance was amazing his calmness on the ball his stature and ball skill WOW?
The he scores from must have been 25 to 30 yards man of Match,my mates tells me he came from Chelsea there loss our big gain go Saints.
 
What amazes me is that he was only signed by Chelsea a year ago, but very quickly swapped clubs to come to SFC. Just proves the reputation we have at the Academy, that attracts young starlets.
 
Good to see the Academy recovering from the slump of a few years ago. Cortese believes in it and will spend money on it. Only the very best will get into the first team as we get better and better, but the others will get a good grounding for life in football and elsewhere and we earn money when they move on. Happy days.
 
The best bit is that these lads aren't just good at football, they have a spot on attitude as well.
 
How thrilled would you be to get your son in Saints academy, not just for the football but for the discipline and foundation for life. I can tell you it's hard to bring up a lad as a single mum and keep them on the straight and narrow..did it but hard work.
 
George Mells is going to be staying with my former LSA as her lodger ;) she also has luke shaw & jordan turnbull
 
This lad from Australia that saints have is a talent his vision and awareness is beyond his age controlled the game and made it look is easy.Where do we find this kids his name is George Mells scored from 25yards out. One touch passing my mate tells me he plays for our 16s also go Saints
