Apparently RDL is doing great at Boro and their fans ha e really taken to him. Been playing at left back according to the report I read

I like De Laet and think he has been a very good player for the club but due to him being prone to lapses in concentration at the key moments he will always be a top championship player. Same as David Nugent

Personally, I still think RB is a weak spot and would like to see Amartey play there in the long run. He sounds like he could be class in any position he chooses, but should probably stick to one and play there consistently to become truly great (see also Schlupp, who needs to realise he's better playing on the wing than anywhere else). We have plenty of options in midfield (I'm still an Inler fan and think he could be decent for us with some match time under his belt), especially with James on the return, and Amartey's also not going to supplant either of our centre halves, his best hope if back-up there.

Have a couple of concerns with Amartey coming in at RB.

Hes not been classed as "match fit" since being here, even if hes considered match fit now, fullbacks have to get through ALOT of work compared to other positions.

I hope his mind isn't set on impressing too much seeming it would be his debut, as he could get a bit over-eager and give away a silly foul or even penalty.
