Thanks but I am one of many, many and was not looking for sympaphy. In the scheme of things we are fine, she has no idea what is going on and feels no pain so it could be a lot worse, I know because I see some of the other residents.

I didn't mean to sound trivial or anything, Syd. Please don't take it that way. But I'd sympathise with all those in your position if I came into contact with them. It's just that I came into contact with you and not them. Maybe I'm not good at this stuff and should just shut up. Good luck to you, your sister and your mother anyway - and please take it as heartfelt. The woman did her best, and doesn't deserve this.
