Over the last couple of weeks ive been noticing alot of negativity on here about bottom half finish and how half, no 3/4 of you are settling for a mid table finish

Am i the only optimistic fan here???

Ive got us down for 5th this year, i truly beleave we will go up!

Im not asking you to agree with me and say we will go up but a bit of positivity is needed, one person on here is really bad atm and its redprintt seems to be very negative

So come on lads just get some life Back into the forums and a bit more optimism

I'm quite optimistic about this season, but as you believe we'll finish 5th and go up i'd love that to happen but just cannot see this happening. I honestly believe we will finish mid table
 
It's true what you're saying Shiny, what a difference a year makes eh? But after this rallying call of yours I'm going to buy into it and today I will be telling anyone unfortunate enough to be listening to me, that we are dead certs for the play-offs at least <ok>

Agree shiny mate, I can definately see us getting top 8 or so this season. Many teams are a lot worse than last year, our team is nowhere near as bad as some people make out. Lots of players out of contract at this season's end and hopefully they'll be playing out their skins to show they deserve a new deal at the club.

I dread coming on here tonight saying things like 'why the hell didn't Cisse start, he was excellent in front our back 4 last season'. My only hope today is that we're at home.
Spoke to my boy earlier, he'll be in the East End, and like you he's optimistic - that's until I told him Cisse and NK(he had high hopes of NK) unlikely to play and nor will a 'Caulker'.

Shiny - Please come on here tonight and give me hell, because, if you do we know OUR team will have gained our first win.
Millen was right and daft old R/P was wrong.
 
well i hope i have to redprintt and i know you hope i will too, got a good feeling just try and be a bit moreoptimistic we've not kicked a ball yet, anything can happen
 
RP, I agree that Cisse is an absolutely necessity in front of our defence. Hopefully Wilson can show the same sort of potential that Caulker did in his time here. Although it's unlikely as Caulker was in a class of his own at times. At the end of the day we all want what's best for the club. You're completely right to express your doubts over the way things are going, it would be a dull forum otherwise! But it's the start of the new season so i'm going to stay naively optimistic =D
 
You've got more chance of Maynard signing a new contract than you have of going up, mid table at best!!

I take that back, relegation fight for you guys!! Should have sold Maynard and bought a defence <laugh>
