Congratulations to the fans who cheered themselves up (there was little else to cheer!) at Anfield on Sunday....... Cheered me up, too. This is the best one, but there were others: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2012190-video-tottenham-fans-at-anfield-lets-pretend-we-scored-a-goal ps I remember City fans singing "Always look on the bright side of life" as they played their last pre-relegation games not so long ago (2001?)! That should give us hope. After all, we're not in that situation. I'm trying hard to resist the temptation to add "yet".
We've done some good chants over the years, that's for sure. Some of my personal favourites: Fat Eddie Murphy, you're just a fat Eddie Murphy - Sang to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Change Eddie Murphy for Annie Lennox - Sang to Dean Ashton Pardew for England - During the spell where Harry was odd's on for England and we were thumping Newcastle at home. "He scores once a year, he scores once a year, Andy Carroll, he scores once a year!" - When Carroll scored against us last season in the 3-1 win against West Ham. West Ham replied with "He scored against you, he scored against you, how **** must you be, he scored against you!".
That video is pure class! Fair play to them all. Two of my favourite chants are: 1, sung when we go away to West Ham "the wheels on your house go round & round" 2, in response to their champions of Europe song we replied "we know what you are We know what you are ****ers from Fulham That's what you are"
Vertonghen singing in his bath......"I want to go home,I want to go home,I'm tired of losing,I want to go home!...."
