    Now that he's dead and can't defend himself, it won't take long for the Daily Mail to pay somebody to suddenly "remember something" from looooong, loooong ago.

    How long will it take some journo to make a spurious connection to the time when he went under the name of Shane Fenton and fronted a band called Shane Fenton and The Fentones, who were the warm up band for the 1960's weekly Friday tea time show "Ready, Steady, Go" which was the forerunner of Top of the Pops, hosted by none other than.........

    Sounds daft...? Well, journos have made more with less. We shall see.
