...now that the Real Madrid striker is joining Chelsea, who's going to score the most goals out of the 2 players.

Word for word. Can be interpreted that Matth is saying that Morata is going to score the most.

I know diddly squat about Morata. Is he a Costa type striker?

They are similar in a way as he can hold the ball up and has good body strength.

Really? From what I've seen he'll play on the shoulder more and make runs other than have the ball to feet. He's also used as a second striker at times and is quick. He's nothing like Costa.

Not exactly correct Luv, both have good upper body strength and can resist challenges and both can hold the ball up and bring in other players. Watching a 10 minute video of Morata this morning franks my opinion that they score similar goals if anything Morata is probably the more selfish on the ball than Costa was.

Ah right, when I've watched him play he was running in behind and taking a man on. I've read that he's versatile.

I have to agree with you from what I've seen. He looks a better footballer too.

Morata is a better footballer all round from what I have seen.
Not sure he has the same killer instinct in front of goal that Costa has though.
His goal per minutes ratio last season one goal every 88 minutes, even though he scored 15 goals in 26 appearances, because most of those appearance was as a sub.

But then you have to factor in two other things,
    1) He was playing for Real Madrid and had Ronaldo and Bale flanked either side of him
    2) He was playing in La Liga, where only Atletico Madrid can defend, the other 19 teams are all like "What is dis.....Defence? Que?"

BUT, he is only 24 and therefore he is likely to have a couple more years before he peaks, so who knows.......
    Only time will tell.

Morata will flop. Lukaku will score 20+ goals.

He's hardly going to be a worse footballer than Lukaku, is he?

Seems to have been the last and only available choice for Chelsea. Alienating Costa was a daft idea.

    On previous showings, no.

But I suspect Jose playing hoof ball will help Lukaku get a few that count.
