Your point is very reasonable ellewoods , lets hope he stays injury free from now on because we all know how good he can be
Ellewood im not saying your stupid or ignorant, im just giving my personal opinion. I honestly don't think that City would have giving him this contract if they where at all worried about Aluko's long term fitness, look what happened with Charlie Austin, failed Medical so no contract.
Without a crystal ball this injury dilemma is never easy to overcome. Signing Fletcher would make me nervous as I have heard nothing but problems from the SOL, but he is a fine player when on form; my key concern is that he is so soon out of treatment and a tad rushed, at that. Sone Aluko has injuries that he played through, being monitored by our medical team, he has gone through all of his treatment and rehabilitation with us, so the risk is a well measured one and well worth a punt; as long as he doesn't have a problem with his spine
I know you arent insulting me. I still dont understand the Medicals. Austin fails no problems since, Boyd fails for eyesight no problems since, Aluko passes has lots of injuries. Bullard somehow passed and had knees worse than glass. Also they must give you another medical when you are coming back from an injury to give you the green light to play, yet time and time again someone is reinjured because they came back to soon. Sometimes I wonder if our doctors arent educated in the same place as Dr. Nick from the Simpsons.
Ha ha yeah know what you mean. The George Boyd Medical has to be the strangest of all time. It was a shame about Austin, seems to be doing the business at Qpr but i suppose its a big big risk with suspected knee problems on a player you know very little about in terms of his past injury situation. Bullard could av walked in the building with 1 leg missing and got a deal under Duffen, just so he could shout from the roof tops 'ive signed Jimmy Bullard'!!!
We paid nothing for Aluko, we paid 5M(?) for Austin the club no doubt could afford to take a risk on Aluko couldn't on Austin. I get why people are worried but if we replaced Aluko his replacement of his type is going to cost 3M+, there aren't many players similar to him the creative type who can do something truly great. He is worth his weight in gold, he can pull off that bit of magic to win you a game. He does get injured a lot but his replacement would cost us more and with agents fee etc... would probably cost us more. Aluko is probably cheaper per game then a new signing would be as any new signing i would suspect would want more than Aluko.
Did that carthorse Barry cause Sone's injury at Everton. If so I hope someone kicks him bloody hard....
Yep it was Barry, the cock. He should've been sent off twice over in that match if I recall, not only for the Aluko challenge but also for a knee high lunge on Graham.
Fantastic news; Aluko's a great player and we really look a more dangerous outfit when he's in the side. Aluko will be like a new signing when he comes back from injury.
