Sorry mate, I was just using Fraizer as an example - same age, same height, same weight: Aluko 1 goal from 19 appearances at Premier League Level - Campbell 6 from 33.
Let us see how many Clubs beat a path to our door for Aluko.

I did wonder at the time and I still do today - did we get him to sign a new lucrative contract to then sell him rather than see him leave for free? I just dont see how he fits in as a first XI regular.

Fully fit he is a quality premier league player, Frazer Campbel, that day has gone leave in the past. As for Sagbo, yes I agree there we need to offload him during the summer.

He's played 38 league games since joining you on a free, spending half his time injured.

How can you possibly say he's gone from a free to being worth 7m? If I were a Palace fan, i'd be against us bidding 2m.

Yes - but when is he fully fit? Sorry but Aluko is injury prone and if anyone offered £4million + for him I'd take it

I go with the overinflated prices that we have in today's market especially in England , aluko has shown when fit he is a very good player and could fit into half the teams in the top division , 2 million would be a joke fee

As some of your supporters ranted and raved last season about Schmichael when we were allegedly interested in him, either pay the asking price or sod off! :D No way would we entertain £2Million but as I said in my previous post, I'd take £4M

We got him free because Glasgow Rangers went into liquidation and his contract was null and void.

Last season the amount of TV money available for Premier League teams went up by millions for finishing bottom. All that extra money will find its way into increased transfer fees and player's wages. Welcome to the best league in the world.

On his day Aluko is our most skillful player, not my opinion but that of the other players. Once he's fully over his injuries and playing to his potential Brucey would have to find a place to accommodate him in his 11.

That said if Sone isn't performing or asks to leave he'l be on his way. Value is what another club is prepared to pay; for me as of today £4m+

I remember at the time of him getting his second injury, that was when he trying to get a big contract, his injury stopped him from getting the deal and wage he would of liked, however I reckon he is still on one of the biggest wages in the squad.

I believe that there is far more to this. I have serious doubts that Aluko will feature in the final at all. Nothing concrete but did he expect to be on the bench on Sunday and left the KC after finding himself sidelined?

But that's a completely illogical argument.

Schmeichel has played every game this season for us and he's the first name on the team sheet. Aluko can't get into your side (according to the article), there is no way that he's worth 7m when he's either sat on the treatment table or the bench.

As it turned out, Schmeichel has been worth so much more than the derisory offers you placed and the value we put on him because he's played an enormous part in our season that has potential to be our greatest ever. Whereas Aluko has scored one goal for you in almost 20 games and has been injured for the entire season.

Put it this way, you're not going to be getting offers for him of even half of Bruce's valuation. If he's inured all the time and not on the pitch when he's not injured then it's best to sell him for what he's worth. You'd still be profiting on him.

He was injured and we're a bit screwed if he's not at the final, he's by far the most talented striker we have available.

Now that is up for debate should Long Jelavic and Aluko as out and out strikers all be on form at once.
