It doesn't really matter how you look at it, what angle you take or which positives you focus on. It's very, very obvious that he's not working for us, at this time, in the Premier league. A striker that doesn't score or ever look remotely like scoring isn't a useful commodity even if he does keep himself busy bustling about. I wanted him to work out as much as anyone but we can do much better. At the least surely Mandron is worth a shot over Altidore, at least we know that he's capable of kicking the ball towards the goal.
I watch him very carefully from game 1 to be precise and he does not put a shift in because he is incapable of doing so. I was very excited when we singned him and he scored that hatrick for the USA, but we have never once seen that player in a red and white shirt, this is going to be my last post on Jozy.
Couldn't agree more pal. people think buy selling Altidore then buying a new forward everything will be ok. we don't creat **** all & have no ****ing pace at all so even Bony would struggle in our team. The last 3 games Altidore has look bright & did miles more than Fletcher but the lad still gets stick. that was his first start in the prem for over 8 months & in my eyes he give the team more than what Fletcher gives. gives us more movement for a start. plus didn't sunderland play better & scored more with Altiodre in the team last season? funny that like. Hopefully the lad gets his move, he go on & do bigger & better than Sunderland.
