He is bad though.

He is better than Fletcher & Scocco tho.

You cant say that though. Scocco is unfit and has only played the 2 cup games. Its much too early to judge him. Fletcher has done the business at this level before (even though he has been gash this season). Jozy has had 2 spells in the prem and has 2 goals to his name. Workrate only gets you so far sooner or later we need to expect goals. To be fair also its not like jozy plays out his skin every game without scoring and turns up for about a third of his games played

Although a minority of fans turned on Altidore early in the season the majority have actually been very patient with him. He looks like he has everything a striker needs and his attitude has been good (plus he comes across as a nice guy so you want him to do well) but we're a long way into the season and you can't see him suddenly banging them in. Fletcher could hit a purple patch as he has before, Jozy just doesn't seem like he his it in him.

It's a shame as if that 'goal' against Arsenal had been refereed differently I think it could have had a massive impact on him (it would have been a very good goal) and your team. If Borini or Fletcher are one-on-one with a keeper you back them to score, if Jozy is one-on-one you check to see if there's anyone he could be passing to.

I can say that because he is. Borini is our forward now but if he gets injured then it has to be Altidore. Fletcher has lost it big time. he is slow, lazy, unfit scottish ****er end of. PDC was spot on about him.

Scocco may come good but he is so unfit it's a joke.

This season Altidore brings more to the team than Fletcher & Scocco.

I disagree about Fletcher, I've lost all confidence in him. Not the same player he was when he first joined

I'd only fancy Borini to score a one on one. Altidore's confidence is shot to bits, he needs a fresh start, away from the pressure of the premier league.

It's sad Fletcher and Altidore cost a combined 17m but neither look like scoring any time soon

Football has a lot to do with confidence and I suspect both are lacking in confidence, particularly Altidore
