With apologies to Richard Littlejohn of the Daily Mail for rewriting a 'funny'.

I think I may be coming round to the argument in favour of Alternative Votes. I've worked out that under AV, even if Hull City finish outside of the play-offs we could still gain promotion to the Premiership as everyone's second favourite team!
