Slating??? me and Spurf were just having a bit of fun about a theoretical match! but if you want to be serious, its well known Hudds mobility is his weak area, he looked to be going some way to addressing that pre injury I'd add, but thats a while ago now, remains to be seen if he gets it back, its an important element that cannot be overlooked in the PL, less so in some European games that are slower, but once again I'd like to think tactically we'd impose our speed into such a game. <ok>

that second squad would need to bypass the midfield, or dawson punts it to hudd, he then puts in a world class long range pass, Adebayor nods it down and Dempsey powers it in, job done, 1-0.

We could always pick Jenas instead of one of the holding players.
    Just sayin'...

Sorry notso didn't mean it to come across like that! Agree with you on Tommy but just saying he is a lot better than those other 2 whatever his mobility factor!
I suppose we could go back to 4-4-2 and bring Bentley back as well to add in with Jenas.........

How dare you apologise! <laugh> no need at all mate.

Hudd has developed an extra to his game though. Did anyone else spot why the Gallas penalty shout wasn't given in ET v Reading. Webb didn't see it....Hudd's fro was in the way! <laugh>...Seriously, I kid you not, he was the only player in the line of his view. <ok>

He's said that he won't cut it until he scores, CJ.
I still think that he should go for the full Valderrama, though.

I'm also a big Beni fan. He's an excellent left back, great fun to watch. As a new fan what I notice is when the other team has a long spell of possession, most others resort to kicking the ball downfield and prolonging it. Beni dribbles and passes out. No doubt it will cost a goal every so often, but I appreciate the positive approach and get frustrated when players don't seem to realize that relieving pressure for about three seconds is no accomplishment.

The correct answer is Tom Carroll.

Yeah Tom Carroll for Parker maybe as Parker is coming towards the end of his career although right now probably swap for Livermore as I believe Carroll has more potential than Livermore.
Agree with you Redwhiteandblue on the Benny thing. His Cruyff turns can have you on the edge of your seat but 95% of the time it works and some of his link up play with Bale has produced some of our best play over the last couple of seasons.

I would not only say he isn't our weak link but one of our best players over the last couple of seasons. What do you make of that? We must be really f*cked now!
