Let's see of we can have a bit of fun for a change. No miserable buggers please.

We're all watching the Olympics, some love it and some hate it but it's all serious threads so I thought we could have a light hearted one for a change. Comments are welcome from anyone no matter what team they support, even Cardiff.

So if you want to post jokes, observations or spotted gaffes from commentators please feel free and share. All I ask is that everyone take this for what it is, a pinch of salt and let's not take things to heart.

So to get the ball rolling here's one for our friends down under (as I know you've got a good sense of humour)

Doctors in Australia have diagnosed a new condition which they are calling "Olympic finger". Symptoms are pain in the index finger caused by repeated scrolling down to see Australia's medal tally.
 
What I would love to see is a full on drug induced olympics. All competitors on performance enhancers. Just how fast can a man run. OK so the heart attack count would go up but it would be interesting to know.

Last night on the news the BBC sports editor said "Bolt came out of the blocks with the nimbleness of a wardrobe" which was chuckle-inducing.
 
I've just been watching the women's Olympic beach volley ball and there's been a wrist injury,I should be ok by tomorrow.......
 
Alway fancied the modern Olympics. With events like the binge drinking marathon, the teenage pregnancy pram steeplechase and the car thief sprint, Britain would be top of the table.

Thought John Inverdale trying not to cry but eventually losing it after the mens lightweight doubles was funny ... especially when the camera cut off him but he had to intoduce the next race with his voice pitch changing like a lad who's balls had just dropped!

The BBC commentators going mad during Mo Farrah's race was fantastic.
 
During the women's weightlifting, the commentator should "wow, now that's an impressive snatch".

Had me in stitches.
 
Aussie, I'm fully expecting the wrath of Musty.

Ash, how could I forget ? I saw that too, inbetween my women's beach volleyball sessions.

Especially for Musty as I'm going to get it anyway,

i have no comeback lads, swimmers believing their own hype, hope sally wins the hurdles, sad sad games for us and well done the brits, read in the paper today the bosses of swimming australia have given themselves a payrise, what a fking joke

Don't worry either you two things will get better for Australia, they can't get much worse really.

After watching some of the gymnastics at the Olympics & going to circus de soleil last night , I'm not really that impressed with either . I've done most of what I saw one time or another in a 35 year roofing career , most of the time involuntarily though Lol !!
