Save our Mapps campaign next then! he has such a good undestanding with NN! The MT/NN partnership will not work IMO
thanks hon, i'm sure Sunderland will cope without him, and this is fantastic news for us, he's been amazing in his loan spell, sweet sweet day! Great idea Al! Let's get him in quick i would imagine they'd be more keen to drop Taylor than Mariappa...
I said it in October and I'll say it again. If Deeney or Iwelumo aren't producing the goods, we could do worse than bring Martin Taylor on as a sub. Obviously there's the height, but just as importantly as centre backs go he is class with the ball at his feet. It'll never happen, I'm just trying to find some reason to believe that Tiny and Mapps are both staying.
H, I think what he means is Mapps could be on the way out to pastures new After I posted this you already answered my last A lot of posters around discussing the good news
he does seem it...good to know, and he does seem very happy at Watford...sorry for taking him away though
Chant for Reading: "Shut the transfer/****ing window now" (delete as necessary, to You're not singing anymore)
Interesting quote from Dyche on the matter. "I think this an outstanding piece of business for our club considering everything remains within the financial constraints we have here."
There's only a year in it between Tiny & Nos but Tiny didn't look his same self at the beggining of the season & there was a suspicion he was slowing up but I'm being unfair on him as he has been great for us. Mapps will stay I believe unless we get a whapping bid in for him which cannot be turned down. Tiny's contract - when is that up? We may see how he recovers in the 2nd half of the season and if it doesn't work out maybe he would go then. Bennett & Thompson will be the future but will go out on loan again I think although Bennett may get sold now or post season. Great piece of business though (Nos) & look forward to welcoming him back!
Good luck Nos lad...You have a good player on your hands if he can just keep his concentration in games because physically the man is the proverbial brick **** house and quick with it.
If Mapps does stay, with having Nos, Tiny, Dale and Thommo (and if necessary Lloyd) as well, I can see Mirfin being transferred out in the summer, maybe earlier - it wouldn't surprise me if at the very least he went out on loan this window.
