Definitely one the Pompey ones, possibly both. The home game in April is followed by a game 2 days later, so if it is moved to TV coverage, it will be forward to the midday kick-off.
as well as sky the beeb screened quite a few champioship matches last year - if the same this year we could see quite a few ko times and dates changed
It was at the start of the 1999/2000 season away at Coventry. But Fran's right, we've never started a season with Nigel but we've already broken a lot of hoodoos since he came in (to the building!! ) so give him and the team a chance. Even if we do start off with a loss, we did ok last season after losing the first game. It's all about chipping away......... Don't write the team off before a ball's been kicked in anger. Are people starting to jump off the bus?? Ding ding!!
Thought Brighton's game at the Amex would be televised, though admittedly Saints vs. Leeds looks much more interesting. On Saturday, the Argus were running a piece about resisting any attempt by TV to hijack their first game. So perhaps they were asked but chose not to. Didn't really want the Saints game moved, but pleased for exiled fans. We had a few games on TV last year, but could be a few more in the Championship.
This is great for me, as I'm on holiday. Watched last years Plymouth game in a Greek bar, before getting back to the hotel to receive dogs load from a couple of Boscombe chumps.
Thought Brighton's game at the Amex would be televised ==================================================== One nice new stadium does not make up for the fact that two poor teams will be taking to the field. No offence Donny.
