Well, I’ve opened my gob after just two Premiership games, this may be the season of our lucky 7th top flight title.

No

We may not win the title.
But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't aspire to.
Our club won the league 15 months ago, if the team takes to Sarri's vision, and it is sound, there is no reason to think we cannot challenge.
Even with Alonso and Cesc and all the other players who you disrespect with your bullshit every day.
If anything stops us winning it will be how good City is, imo.

It remains to be seen if Sarri knows his stuff in the PL, but if he does, why cant we challenge?

Time is well overdue for you to admit you really got it wrong. Alonso is immense.
Do yourself a favour and admit it, or do nothing and accept you are forever a laughing stock. This from a friend.
 
Nobody argued about forward Alonso's ability. He can play over Pedro or Will any given day. Issue is Defender Alonso who is a liability.

Not the point AT ALL. An attacking full back can sneak into positions that a wide forward would struggle to get into due to the oppositions defensive players being tasked to stop them more specifically.

We've got a big striker problem at the moment so we need goals from other areas. If that means a full back chipping in, great.

Attacking full back - Alonso is not.
He doesn't have that engine to do Attack & Defend. Simples.
