Nah man. Alonso has a great engine.

He just lacks speed and strength.

He wouldn't work as a winger, he'd be marked out and keep passing it backwards (what he does now when he's fronted by a player defending). He only works when given space/ghosting im/out running the winger because he has a better engine

Whatever he has, just keep doing the same. So far he's been very successful at adapting to Sarris' methods and has become an important cog in the wheel. That's what hopefully will happen to more players as we go on, and Sarri finds the 11 players who best suit what he's looking for. Might well see a few suprise faces by Xmas.
