Without wishing to forget the legends of the past, I can't see how any Chelsea 11 could leave out Terry, Lampard or Drogba. The 70's team had style but won very little ultimately.

I dont think its about the won little that made us love them so much. Seeing Ossie, Hutch, Huddy and Cookie and the boys totally mesmerise us for years they became part of us. On a technical & fitness level Drogba was far more effective than Ossie but There's only one Ossie.

A great team CCOE-- but no Greaves , Osgood , Cooke , Bonetti! Thats really the point I make ,that there are just too many heroes to give this task a proper answer!

Yeh bluemoon there was like 30 players i could have realistically had in my team but just so many to choose from !! Also the likes of Greaves and Ossy was a bit before my time so just a bit fake if i'm putting in them as i never actually got to see them play apart from old dvds and youtube videos etc !! We have been blessed though, special mention to the ones you've mentioned plus the likes of Lebeouf, Le Saux, Vialli, Petit, Poyet, Di Matteo, Wise, Jones, Gudjohnsen, Desailly, De Goey Essien and all the others.

Was just saying i was surprised nobody seemed to have imo our best ever defender in their teams ! Obviously Terry is the best defender from a impact sort of view but from a football point of view Carvahlo was just out of this world !!
