I think we should the USA and Canada into the 6 nations, to make it an 8 nations. Canada and the USA would be commercially massive for the rugby world. They are sleeping giants. Imagine Scotland playing the USA at packed USA sports stadium. OK they are not so good on the field. But they have massive potential. The USA has 600,000 players it is a sleeping giant of rugby. They speak the same language as us, and a re great destinations for our fans to go to.
An interesting thread and raises a lot of questions in terms of travel (for fans and players) and when all the games would be fitted in. How about an American/South Seas tournament with USA, Canada, Argentina, Fiji, Samoa?
6 is enough imo we don't need anyone else. keep it European and leave the Americas have their own tournament if they wish...Keep the time when we play these for Friendly s and WC...
