rubbish. there will be much more in the Telegraph this week implicating half the current premier league managers! BFS was always going to be the opening act, him being England manager and all.
i disagree. this stinks of being the same policy the media have been applying to corbyn. there are no footballing reasons why allardyce shouldn't have been england manager. he's left every club better off than they were when he started. most people haven't been through his management history, they've just based their opinions on his time in the premier league with teams that had little money to spend. you seem to fall into this category.
I've just been looking at some of the comments made by managers, ex-players etc in the media to the bfs news and I cannot help think that they are in the main not surprised or shocked at his conduct. If I was being interviewed in that position, I would be going out of my way to say how shocked I was at his conduct. It just gives the impression that this sort of thing is a bit of an elephant in the room of football. They all know it's happening and its an accepted part of football, but nobody openly discusses it (other than bfs). Eddie Howe for me. He would be a clean slate, a fresh approach and would be a popular appointment. So what if it goes wrong, what is the alternative? My only fear would be for his reputation if it didn't work out. Seems a good guy and little good comes of England managers after their reign.
dont think youd do a worse job. I reckon SB'll get it and then pull Harry Cane and Sturridge off at 1/2 time to protect a 1 nil lead.
Yep. If he was a viable candidate two months ago, he's a viable candidate now. Depends what the FA thought about his interview of course. Whether he'd want to dip his head in a bucket of ****e a few weeks after being told that he wasn't good enough for ****e dipping is another question however.
According to the Telegraph: Eight EPL managers involved in 'bungs'... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...ier-league-managers-took-transfer-bungs-clai/
