Surprisingly, all the tv footatge is very inconclusive, distant and from wrong angles. Not sure how BFS, pundits and all the pearly queens can be so adamant.
The TV and media pundits can be so sure because the "Beloved and soon to be sainted" Big (fat) Sam has spoken, plus it is the media's favourite team and dare a team of upstarts from a "dingy and rugby league playing hell-hole in the desolate North" (that is how a lot of the media think of us - not my own personal opinion before anyone shoots me) beat them. And Big Sam like his mate SAF is never wrong - it is always the referees and nasty opposition players not allowing them to score. Here endeth the rant for the 25th Sunday of the Church's year
Fat Sam's one of those guys who will get you to a party, he might even keep you welcome, but then you start to wonder why the **** you bothered Still, so worth changing our name for
"Soft Penalties" are part of the modern game - how many have the likes of Man Utd won over the years? We got away with the Livermore one admittedly (I think Faye was right in the ref's eyeline) but overall I thought we deserved to win the game. We hit the woodwork twice, Aluko had a goal disallowed for offside and I'm not convinced he was and JJ made a couple of great saves in the first half. Although they had a lot of possession they never really worked Mcgregor.
You make contact in the box you run the risk of giving away a penalty, throughout the season we'll get decisions against us, we already have .. torres free kick which lead to lampards goal, some you get going for you some go against you. Big Sam will always blame anything else other then his and his team's ineptitude. As for Nolan straight red if it had been against one of the bigger clubs !
I really rate Allardyce as a club manager and in the unfortunate event of Bruce leaving, I would happily have him as Hull City manager.
Allardyce has a great record with limited resources. He’s typecast by the media but I don’t give a ****. Just look how well he did at Bolton and Blackburn (and WHU). His teams are usually streetwise and play to their strengths. I’d definitely take him over all the past managers we’ve ever had in my time (bar Bruce). Hopefully, when the time comes for SB to depart we’ll be at a station where we can attract a Laudrup type, if not, and we’re delving into the schiese that Sunlan are now, I’d take Big Fat **** Sam anytime.
Back in our inaugural season in the premier we bemoaned plenty of decisions to go against us and all we got in return was pretty much a laugh in the face and a patronising "welcome to the Premier League". Now the new boys are (potentially) playing up to the Premier League regulars activities people are moaning. From where I was sat in E6 it looked like a penalty, Nolan's tackle looked worse on a replay so perhaps thats why he gave a yellow. In all fairness, they should have had a penalty. You win some you lose some though, Allardyce with his disgusting tactics was just trying to shield the blame.
Big Sam (as HE decided to call himself once upon a time) is a festering sack of rancid ****e. The ****e just falls out of his mouth so much he could fertilise half of Lincolnshire if he wasn't a manager. Plus he looks like Jabba. please log in to view this image
I watched Killer and Brownie on Football Focus, saying that Sam was unfairly accused of playing hoof-ball. Having watched yesterday's game, I see nothing unfair at all, they were terrible.
How many times did the diving twats (particularly Noble) in that second half, win free kicks 40 odd yards out and every single time it was hoofball to Tomkins in the box? Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!
It was predictable that twat Sam would make more of the Brady penalty and nothing of his teams failings.
If you are running forward into the box with a bit of pace, your momentum is going forward already, so it doesn't take much of a shove to put you off balance. For me it was a penalty and if it had happen to West Spam Allardyce would have been shouting from the top of the stands that it was a penalty Edit: Though I think we were a bit fortunate with the Livermore one, those are often given, even though it was ball to arm not arm to ball, as in the last game of the season Cardiff got the penalty for a similar situation. P.S. Nolan should not have been on the field after that tackle.
Allardyce is a dick, I can't stand him. A couple of weeks ago he made a big fuss about his side deserving to beat Newcastle because Newcastle hadn't had a shot on target all game. Fair enough except that his side only managed one shot on target and the best chance of the game fell to Gouffran in the last minute. He tries too hard with his crap like this. He could have maybe argued that it wasn't a penalty (it was debatable, but a foul in my opinion) but to say Brady clearly dived is just pure fiction. He doesn't go rolling on the floor or appealing to the ref, he was pushed, went down, got up again. No drama at all. His style of play is dire. Nolan must be the only attacking midfielder who doesn't pass the ball, create chances or beat a man, he's literally just there to score tap-ins from the scraps left over when the big bastard up front doesn't score.
