Think the hold up with the Chinese consortium is due to them wanting to buy each player individually by their number Don't know why I post this s***e
9 times out of 10 they don't make it, perhaps this is due partly down to funds, which he has plenty of so he'll have a better chance than most. I hope he's going to be ok, I hate the twat but still wish him no harm
You respond to roughly 90% of my posts with that faux outrage, saying it's a new low even for me. Now you're playing it cool after the event like a Leeds fan. You don't care about me cos you're so massive, right? If you could settle on a single phoney online persona it'd be a lot less confusing. That post wasn't in the slightest bit controversial.
It's about the worst cancer to get in terms of prognosis. Survival rates have improved enormously for many cancers but not really changed much for pancreatic cancer.
Debating how I'll someone is or isn't is pretty poor taste. The family have asked for privacy. Let him suffer with some dignity and shut the **** up on this subject Plenty more to talk about. This argument is beneath contempt.
My query in relation to his condition was merely to highlight its seriousness - I was not aware he had pancreatic cancer until posted on this thread. Absolutely, he should be given privacy and allowed to retain his dignity.
Nothing to do with funds. The low survival rate, which is less than 10% is due to it showing no symptoms in most cases and by the time it does it is too late as the cancer has spread. A girl I know went to the doctors three years ago as she was feeling tired, nothing else wrong with her. She had a blood test and they called her back in to tell her they were sorry but she had pancreatic cancer and she only had months to live. She was dead within six weeks. Which, as her son said, was in some ways a blessing. I was in hospital a couple of years ago with a serious infection and one day there was a flap. I had been getting severe abdominal pains. One consultant noticed I was showing signs of jaundice. Next thing I was having blood tests and being wheeled off for a scan. I didn't know at the time but looked it up on my phone as they hadn't said anything presumably not to worry me, but those are the two most common noticeable signs of it. Wished I hadn't looked it up as I spent a few anxious days fretting a about it. My doctor, a really good, down to earth type, said basically if you get pancreatic cancer you may as well say your goodbyes. Some of the comments about Allam and his cancer are despicable. Some are ill-informed. Pancreatic cancer isn't something you can exaggerate the effects of or pretend about (and why would anyone want to?), to suggest Allam was doing so is really a poor thing to do. I wouldn't wish this on anyone no matter my feelings towards them. I can think of one poster in particular on here would be outraged by some of the comments regarding .Allam's illness.
Did they? I remember those who knew what was happening in the US saying that deal was dead, it was common knowledge that there was also some interest from China, but I don't remember anyone claiming to be 'itk' about the Chinese deal.
That was my immediate thought. If we were that close to a takeover, would they really be trying to recruit a manager? Surely they'd just give it to Phelan on a caretaker basis and let him buy some ****ing players. As you say, timed perfectly to suppress the protests.
I have no itk info and just all conjecture but is it possible that everything is on hold as old man Allam might be in the final straight and they have other things to concern themselves with?
And if my conjecture is true it would make sense to wait till Assam leaves us for inheritance tax purposes as the business would get business property relief and avoid an approx hit bill on the sale of Hull city of around 40million
